Kwetu Film Institute Founder, Eric Kabera produced the first feature film on the Genocide committed against the Tutsi of Rwanda. The feature film is titled 100 DAYS. Eric‘s work has been featured and/or distributed by major networks, such as BBC, CNN, PBS, LA Times, NPR, NHK-Japan, Franch Tv, China, Turkish Tv to name but a few. Eric has been presented at the United Nations Head Quarters in New York. The Film School has done some work closely with the Steven Spielberg foundation and I was honored to sign on a Certificate with Steven Spielberg when we offered Certificates to the Students of USC Cinematic Arts, working on visuals of memory and Genocide.The work of KFI has been presented and discussed in major world renown universities, such as the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, USC, UCLA, UMASS, UC Berkley, Edinburgh University, Kampala University, Butare University, to name but a few.
